President Buhari sends names of 42 Ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmat - Edoman - 07-01-2020 President Buhari sends names of 42 Ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation President Buhari has sent a letter to the Nigerian Senate requesting the screening and confirmation of 41 non-career and one career ambassadorial nominees for appointment.   One of the nominees Suleiman Sani from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was nominated as a career ambassador while the remaining 41 were nominated as non-career ambassadors.   The President's letter of request was read on the floor at plenary by the Senate President Ahmad Lawan today Wednesday, July 1.   See below the full names on the list and the states they represent 1.
