Mother who called her 2-year-old daughter "ashewo" and beat her up after a man raped - Edoman - 06-08-2020 Mother who called her 2-year-old daughter "ashewo" and beat her up after a man raped her has been found (video) The woman who beat up her 2-year-old daughter and called her a prostitute after she caught a man raping her has been found.   The mother seemed unrepentant and acted aggressively towards the people who visited her to discuss her daughter's wellbeing.     She informed them that she's educated and went to school too and made it clear that she does not appreciate their interference.   The woman also put up a struggle when they attempted to take her kids (the 2-year-old girl and her elder brother) from her.     Since there was no one willing to take the woman's children in, they were taken to the police station, but the Good Samaritan who made the rape victim's plight go viral has said the children might have to be returned to their mother since the police can't keep them indefinitely.     Meanwhile, the rapist, named Baba Kekere, is on the run. Attempts are being made to find him.     According to Abiodun who shared the story, Baba Kekere has raped the  2-year-old girl on multiple occasions. The girl's mother is aware and has done nothing to the rapist. Instead, she blames her daughter for always going to meet him.   The abuse was exposed when the mother beat her 2-year-old daughter up after she woke up at night to wash clothes and found Baba Kekere raping her. The beating left the girl with a blood clot in her eye and this made people ask questions.   Below is a video of the mother after she was found.   by  RE: Mother who called her 2-year-old daughter "ashewo" and beat her up after a man raped - Edoman - 06-12-2020 Woman who referred to her raped 2-year-old daughter as “ashawo” loses custody of her children, sent to rehabilitation home The woman who beat up her 2-year-old daughter and called her a prostitute after she caught a man raping her has been sent to a rehabilitation center for mentally challenged people by the Lagos state government and her two children taken away from her.   A statement released by the state government this morning, says the rescue operation was carried out by officials of the Ministry of Youth and Social Development after the video of the woman abusing her daughter was shared online by a resident of the state.   Explaining the measures taken by the Ministry which led to the rescue of the mother and two children, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Yewande Falugba stated that as soon as the Ministry became aware of the incident, immediate action was embarked upon to rescue the children at Oniru beach, where they lived with their mother, on Sunday, 7th of June 2020, through a combined effort of the Child Protection Unit of Ministry, Police Officers and the reporter who initially challenged the woman at Idumota.   She said the two children believed to have been abused, were taken for medical examination and treatment, adding that they are currently placed in one of the government-approved orphanages in the State for adequate care pending completion of investigations into the matter.   She added that the mother of the two children, who was discovered to be mentally imbalanced, has since been taken to the State-owned rehabilitation center for mentally challenged persons.
