Quote:Alhaji Buba Galadima, a former ally of President Muhammadu Buhari has at the weekend said that the school feeding programme of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government, even when all schools are closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, as a fraud.
Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent, Galadima, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said it is insane for the government to claim that it was embarking on feeding of school children when all schools in the country are shut.
He also added that he has not seen anyone who has received the N20,000 Conditional Cash Transfer promised to poor households across the country.
According to Galadima “The federal government is making Nigerians look like fools. How can somebody in his right senses say that they are doing school feeding when all the schools have been shut down?”
“They are just making Nigerians look like fools who don’t know what they are doing. It is nothing but a fraud”.
“Tell me which children in your area that they give food to or show me one person who has received the N20,000 palliative. It is so surprising that Nigerians, especially the media kept quiet in the face of all these” he said.
