242 new cases of COVID -19 recorded in Nigeria - 88 in Lagos and 64 in Kano

242 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Monday, May 11, 2020. 

According to Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 88 cases were recorded in Lagos, 64 in Kano,  49 in Katsina, 13 in Kaduna,  9 in Ogun,  6 in Gombe, 4 in Adamawa, 3 in FCT, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Oyo, 1 in Rivers, 1 in Zamfara, 1 in Borno and  1 in Bauchi State.

 
The officials also rectified an error it made in its announcement on the 10th of April . According to the health agency, they erroneously announced two new deaths instead of one in Nasarawa State.

In total, Nigeria now has 4641  confirmed cases of COVID-19. 902 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 150 deaths have been recorded.
