'I said Yes!' BBNaija star Khafi announces her engagement to Gedoni

It seems they'll be another "Big Brother Naija couple wedding," as former housemates of the reality show, Khafi Kareem and Gedoni Ekpata are engaged.
 
An excited Khafi announced her engagement a few minutes ago on Instagram stating that she got the best "Christmas gift ever."

Khafi and Gedoni started began dating during the fourth season of Big Brother Naija.
The lovebirds had fans and viewers talking about them due to their sexual display in the house and while many speculated that their romance would end after the show, they are proving detractors wrong as they are soon to be married.

Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju has reacted to 2019 Big Brother Naija reality show housemates, Khafi and Gedoni's engagement. 
 
The actress recalled how she once had a conversation with Khafi on "why she followed a man" while still a housemate of the reality show. 
 
Lala Akindoju who revealed that she told the reality show star that Gedoni was a distraction, recounted how Khafi told her that she found something more than a reality show. She also disclosed that the couple love each genuinely as she prayed for their love to continue growing stronger and stronger. 
 
She wrote; 
 
Quote:I remember my first conversation with Khafi when she came out of the Big Brother house...I celebrated everything she did in the house, but I was like ‘why did you follow man’? ‘He was a distraction’!!! She smiled and told me I was wrong, told me she felt she had found something that was beyond a reality show...she then said I should speak with him and assess him on my own. .

The first thing Gedoni told me was how much he loved Khafi and wanted to make her happy forever. Despite my many questions, he remained graceful....The rest they say is history! I know you both genuinely love each other, so I pray that your love would keep growing stronger and stronger. .

Big Brother Naija star, Khafi shared a new photo of herself and her former housemate-turned-fiance Gedoni.
 
Khafi and Gedoni shocked Nigerians when they announced their engagement on December 26, months after meeting in the Big Brother Naija house where they started a romantic relationship.
 
Most Nigerians debated about their relationship and whether or not it would last.
 
Their engagement came as a complete surprise when they announced it on Boxing Day.
 
Hours after, Khafi shared a new photo with her fiance. In the photo, Gedoni is seen helping Khafi off a yacht.
 
"He has always been my help," Khafi captioned the photo.
