Woman robbed and stabbed on her way from work dies after hospital allegedly refused t - Edoman - 12-03-2019 Woman robbed and stabbed on her way from work dies after hospital allegedly refused to treat her without a police report A woman, who was stabbed and robbed on her way from work, died after a hospital refused to treat her without a police report. The woman, whose name has been given as Moradeun Balogun, was going home from work on Monday, November 2, when she was attacked, robbed, and stabbed in the neck, @tomiwale_ revealed on Twitter. She was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, Lagos, but they denied her treatment unless a police report is presented. She died before she could be treated. The Twitter user who shared the story is now asking for justice because the hospital refused to treat the victim without a police report. Read here. Her brother, Molade, took to his Twitter handle to demand justice for his sister who according to him was planning her wedding. In a video he posted, Molade asked that revelant authorities ensure his sister gets justice. Other Nigerians are also reacting in anger to the sad news as this is one too many deaths that have occured due to hospitals demanding a police report before treatment. Late Moraedun's friends claimed R-Jolad hospital Gbagada, rejected her because they had no police report . She later died from excessive bleeding. In a statement released, the hospital claimed late Moraedun was brought in at about 7pm by four good samaritans and immediately they arrived, the doctors on duty attended to her and immediately referred her to the Gbagada general hospital for her to see a Vascular surgeon. The family also confirmed that human rights activist, Femi Falana is the official lawyer on the case and he recently spoke in an interview with TVC where he detailed the charges that are going to be brought up against R Jolad Hospital. RE: Woman robbed and stabbed on her way from work dies after hospital allegedly refused t - Edoman - 01-10-2020 Police arrest suspected killers of Moradeun Balogun, lady who was stabbed in Lagos The Lagos state police command have arrested four suspects, Ugochukwu Udochukwu, Chidiebere Nnanna, Samuel Nnanna and David Obi, for stabbing a lady, Moradeun Balogun, to death while she was returning from work on Monday November 2nd 2019. Moradeun who was preparing for her wedding, was on her way back from work with her laptop strapped on her back when she was attacked by the hoodlums around the NCIE bustop in the Gbagada area of Lagos state. She was rushed to R Jolad hospital then transferred to Gbagada General Hospital where she died moments later due to an excessive loss of blood. Parading the suspects before newsmen, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, CP Hakeem Odumosu, said Quote:“Moradeun Balogun, 28, was attacked on her way from work at the NCIE bus stop, Gbagada. The deceased was stabbed in her neck and her Lenovo computer laptop was stolen.
