Notorious gang of thieves nabbed in Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command has burst a notorious syndicate of thieves who specialize in theft of money, GSM handsets and other valuables. 
 
Spokesperson of the command, SP Isah Gambo, who confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Sunday, November 10, said that the suspects are also being investigated for murder.
 
Quote:"On 26/10/2019 during the annual Sheikh Ahmed Tijjani Maulud conducted at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium, Katsina, the Command succeeded in conducting a sting operation at various locations in and around the venue, and the following members of a notorious syndicate of gang of thieves who have specialized in theft of money, GSM handsets and other valuables were apprehended. The suspects confessed to various crimes committed within the state. They are also being investigated in connection with a case of Culpable Homicide and armed robbery that recently occurred at Sabon Gari Division area of Katsina state. Investigation is ongoing" said Gambo.
