Photo: Police arrest notorious female armed robber terrorising Anambra community - Edoman - 07-19-2019 Photo: Police arrest notorious female armed robber terrorising Anambra community The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday, arrested a female armed robber and her accomplice, who have been terrorising Abatete community with robberies and other heinous crimes.     Parading the suspects, spokesperson of the command, Haruna Mohammed, said that on Thursday, following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Eziowelle Division in conjunction with Abatete vigilante group arrested duo namely,    (1) Ifeoma Joy Ugegbe alias "Sabath" 'f aged 20 years and, (2) Ifeanyi Chinweze alias "cheplat" 'm' aged 19 years both from Oranto Ukpo in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State.      Exhibits recovered from the suspects include one cut -to -size single barrel gun loaded with a cartridge.     The case is under investigation after which the suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution. by Linda Ikeji at 19 RE: Photo: Police arrest notorious female armed robber terrorising Anambra community - Edoman - 07-19-2019 Photo: Anambra Police nab three suspected cultists who abducted, gang raped two young girls and forced them to undergo initiation rituals The Anambra State Police Command on Thursday, paraded three suspected cultists over the abduction and rape of two young girls.      Briefing newsmen, spokesperson of the command, SP Haruna Mohammed said that on Wednesday, Surveillance Patrol team attached to Awada Division arrested  Andrew Ejike, 20, Chidiebere Edwin, 19 and Chisom Christian, 17.     "All the suspects, who have confessed to their membership of a cult group known as the "SAITARIS" abducted two young girls aged 15 and 17years and forced them to undergo some initiation rituals and allegedly gang raped the two young girls before letting them go." said Mohammed.     The case is under investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.    by Linda Ikeji at
