Police arrest two over killing of UNILAG medical graduate, Stephen Urueye - Edoman - 04-05-2019 Police arrest two over killing of UNILAG medical graduate, Stephen Urueye The Lagos police command says it has arrested two persons in connection with the killing of a medical graduate of the University of Lagos, Stephen Urueye, at the Idi Araba area of the metropolis, yesterday April 4th. Urueye had his convocation on Wednesday April 3rd. According to the Lagos police command, the two suspects, Gbadebo Jimoh and Malik Adeboye, were arrested by men of the Itire Police division. Both suspects were said to have specialised in snatching phones, money and other valuables in the idi-araba area, where theLagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) is located. Both have been transferred to the state criminal investigation department at the Yaba area of Lagos for further investigation. by Linda Ikeji at RE: Police arrest two over killing of UNILAG medical graduate, Stephen Urueye - Edoman - 04-05-2019 UNILAG students stage protest over killing of their colleague 24 hours after graduation Medical students of the Lagos University Teaching hospital, this afternoon staged a protest over the gruesome murder of their colleague, Dr Stephen Urueye. Urueye who had his graduation from the school on Tuesday April 2nd, was stabbed to death by suspected armed robbers who accosted him while he was walking along Idi Araba road where the hospital is located.
