Vandals Destroy NNPC Pipeline In Lagos, Fire Explosion Averted - Edoman - 12-11-2018

Fire explosion was averted last weekend at a damaged NNPC pipeline point at Oke odo Lagos. Our reporter explained that the pipeline vandals have been having a field day at this damaged point for days, where they have been siphoning refined petrol into fuel tankers. They left the spot after all their effort to stop the petrol from spilling.

Petrol was still gushing out from the damaged pipeline as on Saturday 8th December 2019, with the whole area pervaded with the smell of petrol. Residents quickly contacted the Lagos state fire service, who came and were on standby to prevent a potential fire outbreak.
