Delta State Governor, Okowa Promises Super Eagles $25,000 Per Goal Against South Afri - Gimbiya - 11-14-2018 Delta State Governor, Okowa Promises Super Eagles $25,000 Per Goal Against South Africa (Photos) The Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has vowed to give the Super Eagles $25,000 for every goal they score against South Africa during the AFCON qualifier on Saturday.  The morale of Super Eagles who will play against South Africa in this weekend's 2019 African Nations Cup qualifier at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg, has been bosted by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state, who promised to gift the players a sum of $25,000 for every goal scored during the match. The Nigeria men's football team, are currently camped in Delta state ahead of their crunch clash against the Bafana Bafana on Saturday, November 17. Recall that Gernot Rohr's men suffered a 2-0 defeat in the reverse fixture at the Uyo international Stadium in 2017. Though, they sit atop of Group E with nine points, one point better than Stuart Baxter's men, but this weekend's game will determine who finishes atop of the log. Quote "I am pleased to have the Super Eagles here in Asaba. We hope you make Asaba your home, and as a people, we will begin to follow your progress even more closely," Okowa said during his surprise visit to Eagles camp.
