John Ogunjobi Stabbed To Death In London. Photo - Edoman - 11-09-2018
A murder investigation continues following the death of a 16-year-old Nigerian boy John Ogunjobi in Lambeth, London.
Police were initially called to Greenleaf Close on Monday, 5 November, to reports of a shooting.
Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and found a 16-year-old boy collapsed in the street with stab injuries.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the male was pronounced dead at the scene at 23:41hrs. His next of kin are aware.
A post-mortem examination held on Thursday, 8 November, at Greenwich Mortuary gave cause of death as a stab wound.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish whether a firearm was discharged.
An investigation is underway by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, led by Detective Chief Inspector Richard Vandenbergh.
This is coming after a 17-year-old boy identified as Malcolm Mide-Madariola was stabbed near Clapham South underground station in London on Friday, November 2.

16-Year-Old Girl Arrested Over The Murder Of Nigerian Guy In London. Photo
Detectives investigating the murder of Ayodeji Habeeb Azeez who was fatally stabbed in Anerley have made a third arrest.
A 16-year-old girl was arrested this morning Friday, 9 November at an address in south London on suspicion of murder. She is currently in custody at a south London police station.
Police were called at around 12:30hrs on Sunday, 4 November to reports of a stabbing in Samos Road, SE20.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found 22-year-old Ayodeji Habeeb Azeez suffering stab injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:59hrs.
A post-mortem examination which took place at Princess Royal Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday, 6 November gave his cause of death as multiple stab wounds .
Two men - aged 19 [A] and 21 - were arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday, 4 November – both have been released under investigation.
