A faction of Lagos chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) has alleged that Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, National Chairman, APC, Adams Oshiomole, members of National Working Committee (NWC) and host of others hands were not clean in their interventions to have crisis rocking the state APC after incumbent Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, second term projection was rejected by the leaders and members of the party.
The listed people were also accused of been induced with expanse of land and N50 million in order to ensure Ambode have the party’s ticket during the state governorship direct primary election which would be holding on Tuesday.
Besides, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and Ekiti State newly elected governor, Kayode Fayemi, were accused of been forces behind Ambode plan to hijack political structure from National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu.
Aside speculation that the NWC members received money from the governor and that Osinbajo had been rewarded with expanse of land to favor Ambode, the members of the party claimed that the two governors were the back bone of the incumbent and that their plans were to manipulate the process.
Besides, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and Ekiti State newly elected governor, Kayode Fayemi, were accused of been forces behind Ambode plan to hijack political structure from National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu.
Aside speculation that the NWC members received money from the governor and that Osinbajo had been rewarded with expanse of land to favor Ambode, the members of the party claimed that the two governors were the back bone of the incumbent and that their plans were to manipulate the process.
A reliable source from the state chapter of the APC confirmed to The Guild that the working committee who arrived Lagos yesterday as delegation to observe direct primaries on Tuesday, visited Ambode and that they were gifted money but that he could not confirmed the amount.
He disclosed that a coasted buss conveyed the money to the party’s secretariat and thereafter moved to unknown destination where members of the committee could disburse the fund.
He hinted that argument ensued between the state party chairman and the member of the committee on mode of the primary election a day ahead of the exercise.
The source specifically stated that the committee had plan before arriving Lagos and that they had taking instructions from Oshiomole, who may had directed the delegation to rig the election in favor of Ambode.
Meanwhile, a broadcast message received through a social media platformed, indicted VP, NWC members and Oshiomole to be working for Ambode against will of Lagos chapter of APC members and that they had all received material values in return.
Another source who pleaded not to be mentioned disclosed that he was aware of Osinbajo landed gift received from Ambode and the VP cannot deny not had gotten such gift from the embattled governor.

As we all know, the primaries was shifted again today due to inadequate preparation and to make sure party membership cards are properly distributed across the state to members of the party.
Now the Question is: That Money they received today was for what?
As we said earlier, it’s a body that has been furnished with the needful and expected to work not in favor of any candidates
, their entitlements are to come from the Party National body.
But instead, the members of the committee have received what they are not entitled to from one of the aspirants. Now how do we get a free and fair election?
The Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has lobbied for the return ticket for Ambode but the state stakeholders have refused and decided to let a primary decide the fate of the candidate.
In addition, we also heard that the Party’s National chairman, Adams Oshiomole, alongside Governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun, and the newly elected Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, are the brains behind the planned manipulation and they are trying to make things go in favor of Ambode.
The fallacy of power of incumbency is what they are trying to showcase, and the will of people must definitely prevail as the ideology of democracy unfolds.
It’s quite unfortunate or most preferably sardonic that the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, straight fact, was not doing this in vain.
The VP received expanse of land at Eti Osa local government of Lagos state.
Also some factions of the party are really going to the extreme to make things work in their favor, forgetting the fact that the will of the party has to be represented and protected by all members.
