Morning Devotional For Saturday 22nd September - Edoman - 09-22-2018
RHAPSODY OF REALITIES
SATURDAY, 22ND SEPTEMBER.
A LIFE OF ABSOLUTE REST.
Take my yoke upon you…For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:29-30).
The life we’ve received in Christ is such that doesn’t require us to struggle for anything. It’s a life of rest; a life of peace in prosperity. Read our opening verse again. Here, the Lord Jesus outlines how stress-free and easy the Christ-life really is.
The instructions and responsibilities the Lord gives to us are not burdensome at all. 1 John 5:3 says His commandments aren’t grievous. He’ll never ask you to do something that’s beyond your ability. All He asks is that you act on His Word.
Think about it: He didn’t require us to do anything for our sins to be remitted. All the sins you ever committed were automatically blotted out by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:4-5 says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).” Then in verses 8 and 9, it continues: “…and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
As dead in sin as we were, all we had to do was to confess the Lordship of Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, and we became new creatures (Romans 10:9). We became righteous in an instant, and were translated into the glorious liberty of the sons of God, with dominion over Satan and his cohorts of darkness.
If it was that simple for you to receive salvation and have eternal life imparted to your spirit, then you have to accept that life in the Kingdom is that simple too. All you have to do is say “Yes” to the Word; receive and appropriate for yourself all the wonderful provisions of the Gospel: divine health, preservation, peace, deliverance, safety, security, victory, success, and all-round prosperity! All these and more are your present-hour possessions in Christ. You only need to acknowledge and affirm them so, and they’ll become vital realities of your daily walk.
CONFESSION
Thanks be unto God, who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light. The Lord has made my life easy, glorious and exciting; He’s taken charge of my family, health, finances and all my affairs. Therefore, I live in absolute rest, peace and joy today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

I affirm that the lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places, yes, I have a goodly heritage. I am fruitful and productive! I am a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, and my life is like a well-watered garden.
God’s purpose is fulfilled in me, and I am walking in His perfect will at all times! I’ve been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; therefore, all things are mine. Hallelujah. The Spirit of God has granted me the supernatural advantage in life. I’ve been divinely enabled to walk in righteousness, prosperity, health, success, and victory.
I walk in superabundance, for God has prepared great and unquantifiable blessings for me to take care of all I require spiritually, financially, materially, and emotionally! My way is paved by the Lord; goodness and mercy are with me every day of my life, and whatever I lay my hands to do prospers. I can never be disadvantaged because my steps are ordered of the Lord. All that belongs to me is being unveiled to me by the revelation of God’s Word, and as I see, I possess! Glory to God.

TOPIC: WHEN "GRACE" COULD NOT SAVE HIM!?
BASIC SCRIPTURE: 2CORINTHIANS 12:1-10
A month before former President Robert Mugabe's inglorious exit, his wife, GRACE, stunned Zimbabweans when she dared soldiers to shoot her. Grace Mugabe was complaining about alleged pressure from the army for her ageing husband to hand over power to the then Vice-President, Emmerson Mnangagwa. Three weeks after the 93 year-old ruler was forced to relinquish power and as the dust settled after a dramatic transition that saw Mnangagwa taking over from his mentor, questions are now being asked how Mugabe failed to read the writing on the wall when on November 15, 2017, the Zimbabwe Defence Forces announced that they had taken over government and eventually squeezed the Zanu PF leader out of power.
Grace was defiant to the end after pushing for Mnangagwa's dismissal as Vice-President, a move that seemed to infuriate the military. Mugabe told a South African delegation sent by former President Jacob Zuma, to mediate between the former president and the generals because he never expected the military to turn against him after giving them land. Although the former typist (Mrs. GRACE Mugabe) enjoyed the backing of a Zanu PF faction known as G40, she could not save him, Mr Mugabe!
So, as a writer, I noted that GRACE COULD NOT SAVE MUGABE! But the Holy Ghost wants you to know that unlike MUGABE's GRACE, your daily race on planet earth can only be guaranteed by GRACE! GRACE is unmerited favour! GRACE is when what you don't qualify for, locates your address! GRACE is MERCY in ACTION! GRACE is the ability to reach levels that your education, human connections, struggles and even prayers cannot get you to! GRACE is when your superiors bow to you! GRACE is when just a sling paralyzes a giant! 2Cor. 12:9 is clear: "And He said unto me, 'My grace is sufficient for thee..." GRACE IS ENOUGH and SUFFICIENT! When God shows you GRACE, He has shown you cars, good health, uncommon promotion, marital settlement, financial freedom, victory in battles, etc. Yes! GRACE IS ENOUGH to make you a star on this planet! No wonder Paul said in 1Cor. 15:10 - "But by the grace of God I am what I am..." GRACE (SPECIAL DIVINE FAVOUR) IS THE MAKER OF MEN; not struggle! For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: Titus 1:5
READ: Exodus 40:1-10
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

Matthew 3:13-15
13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
MESSAGE
Our God is a God of order. To walk in godliness, orderliness is very important. As a matter of fact, you cannot be holy if you are not orderly, because it takes obedience to be orderly. Contrary to the opinion of some Pentecostal zealots, God cherishes orderliness. But for the grace and mercy of God, disorderliness would have killed many so-called children of God and ministers of the gospel. Orderliness was so important to God that He instructed Moses on how to conduct His sanctuary in the wilderness, as seen in today’s Bible reading. When two of Aaron’s sons, who were priests in their own right, introduced disorderliness in the sanctuary, they both died at the altar of God. Numbers 3:4 says:
“And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.”
Similarly, when King Saul usurped Samuel’s role by offering sacrifice unto the Lord, he was damned for it because he broke divine protocol. According to 1 Samuel 13:10 & 13:
“And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.”
King Saul lost his throne because of his lack of respect for heaven’s order. Beloved, when it comes to spiritual matters be weary of breaking protocol; it may cost you more than you can ever imagine. I love the spirit in Aaron and Ur, associates of Moses who assisted his intercession during the battle with the Amalekites. Narrating their service, Exodus 17:12 says:
“But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”
Aaron and Hur understood divine protocol. They knew that the only hands recognized by heaven in this project were Moses’ hands. Instead of raising their own hands when Moses’ hands became tired, they helped to stay the hands that needed to be raised, and the victory was won. Commit today to respecting and observing orderliness in every area of life.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, please instill in me today the spirit of orderliness, and grant me grace to continue to do things according to your specifications.

TOPIC: CROWNED BY THE ANOINTING
SCRIPTURE: Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.
Leviticus 21:12
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Anointing establishes the anointed in royalty.
From historical and contemporary experiences, it has been confirmed that governments come and go, kings come and go, but there is a group of people whose relevance and impact is perpetual. They are called the Anointed. The Anointed of God are eternal excellences, the joy of many generations (Isaiah 60:15).
The Anointing establishes the anointed in royalty. It positions a crown upon the anointed; a crown that is greater than any political office or authority. That is why unbelievers cannot understand why genuinely dedicated men of God are highly respected and celebrated.
Now, what does it mean for the anointing to establish the anointed in royalty? It means:
1. The Anointing Positions the Anointed Over Territories, Domains and Spheres of Influence.
The Anointing puts the anointed in charge. If you are a pastor, tailor, doctor, engineer or lawyer, the anointing puts you in charge of your domain.
2. The Anointing Positions the Anointed in the Realm of Wealth and Resources Control.
The anointed are to be in charge of organizational, institutional, territorial and even national wealth like Joseph. The whole of the wealth of Egypt was under the command of Joseph; he did not have to steal to be successful.
3. The Anointing Gives the Anointed Both Royal Access and Treatment. The Anointing makes a person enter where only royalties enter; it gives access to royal privileges and treatment.
Beloved, I declare the release of fresh Anointing upon your life, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this:The Anointing establishes the anointed in royalty.
